​​Club Rules

 

• All players must respect the club rules. 

 

• Play is restricted to fully paid-up members and their guests. 

 

• Play is restricted to a maximum of one hour unless no other players require the courts. 

 

• Play must not begin until the morning dew has dried and must end at dusk. 

 

• Play is not permitted at any time if the playing surfaces or surrounding areas are wet. 

 

• The Committee reserves the right to close the courts when it is considered that the courts are unsuitable for play. 

 

• Junior members (under 14 years old) may invite a maximum of one guest at a time on one court only if no adult member is present. 

 

• The gate to the courts should be locked at all times when not use. 

 

• The riding of bicycles or motorcycles or the playing of any ball game other than tennis on the courts is strictly forbidden. 

 

• Appropriate footwear must be worn, and playing barefoot is not permitted. 

 

• Dogs are not permitted on the courts at any time. 

 

• Players should respect residents and keep noise levels to a minimum, particularly in the evenings.  

 

• The nets should be lowered after play. 

 

• The Club, its Officers and Members (hereafter collectively called 'The Club') shall not be liable for any injury to a member or member's guest, or for any damage to property howsoever or wheresoever caused, and The Club shall not be liable to any members of The Club or their guests for loss or theft of property. This shall apply to all members, guests, visitors and invitees.
